The running and maintenance of web servers and internet infrastructure consumes electricity, the generation of which results in carbon dioxide production. The carbon dioxide output of the development and hosting of this website have been offset for the next 5 years and beyond through the planting of 1000 trees and contributions to a number of carbon reduction projects around the world.
